RevolutionPly® Decorative Birdhouses – Part III

September 28th, 2017

In continuation of our RevolutionPly® and RevBead® Reversible Plywood Beadboard birdhouse project, we now have our cut pieces ready for assembly.  Wood glue is applied to the edges of each piece before being nailed together to achieve a more solid construction.  Wood filler is used over the nail holes.  Once the filler has dried, it is sanded smooth to disguise the nails and give a seamless look to the birdhouse.

We will begin decorating the birdhouses with different themes.  Check back with us to see decorating progress as we begin with the fall/autumn season.

See the attached pictures of the assembly process.

RevolutionPly® is a Lauan/Meranti plywood substitute that is made from 100% sustainable wood sources making it great for crafting projects.
